Our Shepherds Huts have their own private wood-burning hot tub and fire pit, and they look out directly out onto our four wonderful Highland cows or our fishing lake. The huts can't be beaten for the perfect spot to relax.
Great location, such a beautiful and peaceful spot, Lavender Cottage has everything you need and Nadine and her family are so friendly. Our English bull terrier even had her own towel and treats left for us on arrival.
What an incredible stay. The images on the listing are very accurate but once you get to the Highland Hut it’s even better! We loved being in the middle of the field with lovely surroundings, a couple of visits from the cows and the incredible hot tub. They’ve really have hit the nail on the head, with everything and we will definitely be booking another stay!
We had a wonderful long weekend in the Shepherd’s Hut. The surrounding were so relaxing and quiet and sitting by the fire pit or in the hot tub in the evening was bliss. The hut was filled with thoughtful touches and the bed was super comfy too! The highlight was definitely staying so close to the lovely highland cows.
Meet the Stibbs! Heading up the family is Gary and Nadine, with their son and daughter, Tom and Ellis and their partners. Along with a menagerie of pets including dogs, horses, donkeys, chickens, geese, fish and our Highland cattle.
Nestled in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside the Stibbs family bought the beautiful Georgian Old Rail Farm in 2019 with a vision to convert the collection of 19th century farm buildings into a range of relaxing retreats.
Old Rail Farm is now home to Confetti Cottages and two Shepherds Huts. With their own fishing lake and footpaths, the Stibbs family have worked hard to turn this arable farm into the perfect spot for guests to switch off and unwind.
Come and meet our four very special gorgeous, shaggy-haired Highland cattle. Our three girls - Marigold, Honey bee, Coco - and the baby of the family, Arnold! Despite the fearsome horns, they love to make new friends and have their photos taken!
